أنا المنقُوصة مِن غيرهِ وفيهِ وجدتُ تكمُلُتِى لِما نقُص مِن عِندِى، وباتَ الحُب يجذِبُنِى ويسحبُنِى ناحيتُه بِلا وعىٍ… ويوم نطقت أُحِبُك قد مادت بِىّ الأرضُ غائِبةً عنِ الوعِىّ، قد عادت ثِقتِى إلى نفسِى، وكم أعشُق لقبُك لى فاتِنتِى، وصار غيابُك مُشكِلتِى، وفِى عودتُك مغفِرتِى، وكم أضعف وكم أصفح لِحُبِى لك بِلا سببٍ
وكم أعشق تفاصِيلُك وخِفة دمُك تأسِرُنِى، ورجاحة عقلُك تخلِبُنِى، وأنت نِصفِىّ الباقِى، ترفع عنِى أحمالِى تُهدِئُنِى، وحُبك لِى يملُكُنِى… كسبتَ رِهانُك فِى الفوزِ بِقلبِى، أنا فرِيسة فِى غرامُك وأنتَ القناصُ مُحترِفٌ، وأركُض نحو وِجهتُكَ لعلِى أُلاحِق سُرعتُك فِى وهنٍ، فكُلُ ما بِك يُغرِينِى فِى صخبٍ
