يتوجه الناخبون إلى صناديق الاقتراع في الأرجنتين، اليوم الأحد، لانتخاب رئيس جديد للبلاد، خلفا للرئيس المنتهية ولايته ألبرتو فرنانديز، في وقت برزت فيه أحدث الدراسات التي أجرتها اللجنة الاقتصادية لأميركا اللاتينية التابعة للأمم المتحدة وصندوق النقد الدولي. وتشير الكاريبي إلى أن نسبة الفقر في البلاد تجاوزت 40%، أي نحو 19 مليون شخص، كثير منهم غير قادرين على تأمين احتياجاتهم الغذائية الأساسية، في واحدة من أهم الدول المصدرة للمنتجات الزراعية في العالم.
وأشارت صحيفة “كلارين” الأرجنتينية إلى أنه في الانتخابات المقررة اليوم 22 أكتوبر، يحتاج المرشحون للرئاسة إلى ما لا يقل عن 45% من الأصوات، أو 40% كشرط للتقدم على المنافس الثاني بأكثر من 10 نقاط مئوية للفوز. في الجولة الأولى، وإذا لم يصلوا… وإذا وصلت النسبة إلى هذه النسبة، فلا بد من إجراء جولة ثانية، والمقرر إجراؤها في 19 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر.
