باحث ألمانى يطلب مساعدة المواطنين لمعرفة المزيد عن بق الفراش
وجه باحث ألماني من متحف LVL للتاريخ الطبيعي في مدينة مونستر الألمانية طلبا غريبا إلى كل من يجد بق الفراش في منزله.
وذكرت مجلة “ستيرن” الألمانية أن الطلب يتلخص في التقاط صورة للحشرة وإرسالها إلى المتحف، أو إرسالها مجمدة بالبريد إلى المتحف.
من جانبها، أعلنت رابطة وستفاليا-ليبي الإقليمية في بيان صحفي أن هذا الإجراء لا يساعد الشخص الذي وجد الحشرة فقط على معرفة ما إذا كان منزله موبوءا، بل يساهم أيضا في تطور العلم.
يقول فيكتور هارتونج، الباحث من متحف LVL للتاريخ الطبيعي في مونست: “لا يعرف الخبراء سوى القليل جدًا عن الانتشار الحالي لبق الفراش وطرق انتشاره”.
ويوضح هارتونج: على الرغم من أن بق الفراش لا ينقل الأمراض، إلا أنه يمكن أن يجعل حياة الإنسان بائسة، لذا يبدو السبب واضحًا وراء خوف الكثيرين في ألمانيا من الإصابة بلدغة بق الفراش.
يعد هارتونج بالرد السريع على جميع من يكتبون إلى المتحف ولديهم شكوك حول وجود بق الفراش في منازلهم. ويمكن للباحثين استخدام هذه البيانات المتاحة للبحث في طرق انتشار الحشرة ومن ثم وضع استراتيجيات لمنع انتشار المزيد منها.
عند إرسال بق الفراش عبر البريد، يكون لدى هارتونج طلب واحد: “يجب تجميد بق الفراش في الثلاجة طوال الليل، ومن ثم يمكن شحنها مجمدة في درجة حرارة الغرفة في حاوية بلاستيكية صغيرة”، كما يوضح.
وفي فرنسا، بدأ الناس مؤخرًا في نشر المزيد من الصور ومقاطع الفيديو للحشرة، على سبيل المثال من السينما أو القطار، وحتى الحكومة الفرنسية شعرت بأنها مضطرة للرد. ودعت رئيسة الوزراء إليزابيث بورن إلى اجتماع وزاري لمناقشة الأزمة.
في المقابل، لا يرى المسؤولون عن مكافحة الحشرات في ألمانيا أي سبب للذعر من انتشار بق الفراش، إذ لم تعد هناك شكاوى من الناس بهذا الخصوص، لكن الأمور قد تبدو مختلفة في السكن المشترك.
