وقالت الدكتورة لبنى عز العرب أستاذ ورئيس قسم الأورام بطب عين شمس، في تصريح خاص لـ”اليوم السابع” إن هناك بعض الحالات التي يحتار الأطباء في علاجها، خاصة بعض الحالات التي قد يكون لها مضاعفات أو الآثار الجانبية الناتجة عن علاجات السرطان.
وأضافت أن أهم الحالات التي تحير الأطباء هي: النساء الحوامل، ومرضى قصور الشريان التاجي، ومرضى السكر الذين يعانون من التهاب الأعصاب، لأن بروتوكولات علاج السرطان تزيد من التهاب الأعصاب. فهل يحرم هؤلاء المرضى من العلاج؟
وأكدت الدكتورة لبنى عز العرب، أن المرأة الحامل يمكنها تناول العلاج الكيميائي، ولكن بعد الأشهر الثلاثة الأولى من الحمل فقط، موضحة أنه يمكنها تناوله في الفترة الثانية من الحمل.
وقالت: “نقسم الحمل إلى 3 فترات، كل فترة تستمر 3 أشهر، لأن حالة مريضة السرطان قد تتفاقم إذا لم تتلقى العلاج المناسب لها، وفي نفس الوقت نحافظ على الجنين”. وأوضحت أن هناك بعض العلاجات المستهدفة التي لا ينصح باستخدامها أثناء الحمل، كما لا ينصح باستخدام هذا العلاج. الهرمونية أثناء الحمل.
وأشارت إلى أنه بالنسبة لمرضى السكر يتم علاج النوع الأول من السكر بالأنسولين، بينما يتم علاج مرضى السكر من النوع الثاني بالأقراص، موضحة أنها إذا أصيبت بالسرطان قبل علاجها يجب معرفة ما إذا كان السرطان قد أصاب أي عضو. وأوضحت أن الجسم أم لا، مثل الأعصاب. يكون المريض أكثر عرضة للإصابة بالتهابات الشبكية.
وأوضحت أن مريض السكر الذي يعاني من مرض السرطان يجب أن يعالج بشكل احترافي للغاية لأن السكر يضعف مناعة الجسم ويؤثر المرض على الكلى والمسالك البولية، مشيرة إلى أن كل مريض سرطان يجب أن يعالج ولكن مع آثار جانبية قليلة، وننصح معرفة الأعراض الجانبية وتفاصيل الحالة قبل البدء بالعلاج. .
