اتفقت النمسا وجمهورية التشيك على ضرورة تقديم مساعدات إنسانية عاجلة لسكان قطاع غزة.
جاء ذلك خلال المباحثات التي أجراها وزير الخارجية النمساوي ألكسندر شالنبرج مع نظيره التشيكي يان ليبافسكي -الذي يزور فيينا للمرة الأولى بعد توليه منصبه- وتناولت المناقشات أيضًا سبل تحقيق التوافق بين البلدين بشأن القضايا السياسية العالمية.
وأكد شالنبرغ -خلال مؤتمر صحافي- اتفاقه مع التشيك على ضرورة توسيع الاتحاد الأوروبي ليشمل أوكرانيا ومولدوفا ودول غرب البلقان، إضافة إلى المطالبة بإدراج أوكرانيا في مفاوضات السلام اللاحقة.
وقال بيان للخارجية النمساوية إن شالنبرج وليبافسكي أعربا عن أملهما في إجراء مفاوضات بشأن الحرب الأوكرانية، موضحين أنه “لم يتم حل أي صراع على هذا الكوكب في ساحة المعركة”، وعلى المدى الطويل، لا يمكن التوصل إلى حل إلا على مستوى العالم. طاولة المفاوضات، “لكننا لم نصل إلى هناك بعد”.
وأضاف البيان أن الوزيرين أكدا على أهمية توسيع الاتحاد الأوروبي، فضلا عن تهدئة التوترات بين بلغراد وبريشتينا. ويأمل شالنبرغ وليبافسكي أيضاً الحصول على “إشارة واضحة” من مفوضية الاتحاد الأوروبي فيما يتعلق بتوسع الاتحاد الأوروبي في الشرق (أوكرانيا ومولدوفا) وأيضاً في غرب البلقان.
