شعبية بايدن تتراجع بسبب الحرب على غزة

تدنّت شعبية الرئيس الأميركي جو بايدن جراء الحرب على غزة وموقف واشنطن منها، حيث بات يحظى الآن بدعم 40% فقط ممن شملهم الاستطلاع.
وذكرت شبكة NBC إلى أن قسماً كبيراً من المستطلعة آراؤهم عبّروا عن عدم موافقتهم على سياسات بايدن بشأن قضية العدوان الإسرائيلي على غزة الذي اندلع في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر الماضي.
ويبدو موقف بايدن الضعيف أكثر وضوحاً بين الديمقراطيين، الذين يعتقد معظمهم أن “إسرائيل” ذهبت بعيدا في عملياتها العسكرية في قطاع غزة، وبين صفوف الناخبين الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 18 و34 عاماً.
وكان 46 % من هؤلاء الناخبين قد وافقوا، في أيلول/سبتمبر الماضي، على أداء بايدن، إلا أن هذه النسبة انخفضت الآن إلى 31 %، بحسبNBC .
وأظهر الاستطلاع أيضا أن بايدن يتخلف عن الرئيس الأميركي السابق دونالد ترامب في معدلات الموافقة على سياساته وذلك لأول مرة قبل انتخابات 2024.
