زى النهاردة.. إطلاق أول صاروخ أمريكى من نوع Aerobee لدراسة الغلاف الجوى
تتوالى الأحداث الفضائية التاريخية، ولعل أبرزها اليوم إطلاق البحرية الأمريكية أول صاروخ أيروبي، وهو صاروخ دون مداري مصمم لدراسة الغلاف الجوي للأرض، والذي حقق هدفه في 24 نوفمبر 1947 ونجح في الإطلاق.
وبحسب موقع “الفضاء”، بدأت الولايات المتحدة بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية بإعادة استخدام صواريخ V-2 الألمانية في هذا النوع من الأبحاث.
عندما بدأت صواريخ V-2 في النفاد، صنعت الولايات المتحدة صواريخها الخاصة التي كانت مماثلة ولكنها أرخص في البناء والإطلاق. في الأسابيع التي سبقت مهمة أيروبي الأولى، تم إطلاق ثلاث رحلات تجريبية.
استخدمت تلك الاختبارات نسخة وهمية من Aerobee مع معزز حي لمعرفة ما إذا كانت المرحلتان ستفصلان بشكل صحيح.
في أول رحلة حقيقية لـ Aerobee، طار الصاروخ على ارتفاع حوالي 35 ميلًا، مع قيام مركز التحكم بالمهمة بقطع الرحلة بعد حوالي 30 ثانية، لأن Aerobee بدأ في الانجراف، وأرادوا منعه من الخروج عن نطاق السيطرة تمامًا.
لكن تم إطلاق أكثر من 1000 صاروخ من طراز أيروبي منذ ذلك الحين، آخرها طار في يناير/كانون الثاني 1985.
