ليلة رأس السنة.. محسن سرحان نام فى القاهرة صحى لقى نفسه فى دمنهور
منذ زمن طويل، احتفل نجوم الفن بعيد الميلاد المجيد ورأس السنة الجديدة، واستقبلوا العام الجديد بالعديد من الاحتفالات والتجمعات. وكان لكل منهم طقوسه الخاصة وطريقة الاحتفال، وكانت لكل منهم ذكريات مواقف لا تنسى بهذه المناسبة.
في مقابلة أجراها الفنان محسن سرحان عام 1954، تحدث عن ذكرياته مع احتفالات عيد الميلاد، ومنها ما حدث له في إحدى السنوات التي لن ينساها، عندما قرر قضاء ليلة رأس السنة في أحد الملاهي الليلية في القاهرة، واعترف الفنان الكبير بأنه شرب الخمر تلك الليلة حتى فقد عقله، لدرجة أنه لم يدرك كيف غادر النادي قبل منتصف الليل ولم يتذكر ما حدث له، حتى استيقظ ظهرا وفي اليوم التالي ليجد نفسه نائماً على سرير في غرفة متواضعة. نظر حوله حتى أدرك أنه في أحد الفنادق البسيطة، لكنه لم يعرف أين هو وكيف. لقد جاء إلى هذه الغرفة، وبدأ ينادي: “هناك شخص ما هنا”، حتى دخل رجل أرمني عجوز وقال: “كيف حالك هنا؟” فأجابه محسن سرحان بدهشة: “الحمد لله بخير، لكن أين أنا وكيف أتيت إلى هنا”. واندهش الفنان الكبير عندما أجابه. وقال الرجل إنه كان في لوكاندا كريستو بدمنهور، وعلم منه أنه وصل بسيارة أجرة من القاهرة قبل الفجر وأعطى السائق 4 جنيهات.
بدأ محسن سرحان يفكر فيما حدث ويجهد ذاكرته للبحث عن الدافع الذي دفعه للقدوم إلى دمنهور، حتى تذكر أنه قبل 10 سنوات من هذه الحادثة كان يحب فتاة من القاهرة، ولكن فجأة انتقل والدها إلى دمنهور. دمنهور، فأخذ معه عائلته ولم يكن هناك أي خبر عن هذه الفتاة، مشيراً إلى أنه أوضح سفره إلى دمنهور دون أن يعلم أن الشوق لهذه الفتاة دفع عقله الباطن إلى السفر إلى حيث ذهبت دون أن يعلم، واختتم الفنان الكبير قصته بالتأكيد على أنه أقلع عن شرب الخمر بعد هذه الحادثة.
