نيبينزيا: الولايات المتحدة تقف ضد دعوة المجتمع الدولى لوقف إطلاق النار فى غزة
أعلن مندوب روسيا الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة، فاسيلي نيبينزيا، أن الولايات المتحدة هي الدولة الوحيدة في العالم، إلى جانب إسرائيل، التي تقف ضد دعوات المجتمع الدولي لوقف إطلاق النار في غزة.
وقال نيبينزيا خلال اجتماع لمجلس الأمن الدولي يوم الجمعة: “للأسف، فإن محاولاتنا العديدة مع مؤيدينا لتبني قرار في مجلس الأمن الدولي يطالب بوقف شامل لإطلاق النار، حتى للأغراض الإنسانية، تواجه معارضة قوية من الولايات المتحدة. “
وتابع أن “مثل هذا التوجه الذي تتبعه واشنطن يرتكز على موقفها المنحاز والأناني الهادف إلى احتكار عملية التسوية في الشرق الأوسط وتوفير الغطاء لأي تصرفات لحليفتها في المنطقة أي إسرائيل”.
وأضاف: “في الجوهر، تظل الولايات المتحدة حاليًا الدولة الوحيدة في العالم، إلى جانب إسرائيل، التي تقف ضد الإجماع العالمي بشأن عدم وجود بديل لوقف العمليات القتالية في غزة”.
وأشار إلى أنه منذ بدء التصعيد في غزة، لم يتمكن مجلس الأمن الدولي من إصدار سوى قرارين ضعيفين لا يتضمنان مطالبة الطرفين بوقف إطلاق النار، بسبب الموقف الأمريكي.
وأضاف: “ونتيجة لذلك، وبسبب الولايات المتحدة فقط، أصبح مجلس الأمن الدولي، الهيئة الرئيسية للأمم المتحدة المعنية بحفظ السلام والأمن الدوليين، غير قادر على القيام بمهامه المباشرة لمدة 3 أشهر”.
وأشار إلى أن “هذا الوضع غير المقبول يكشف المعايير المزدوجة لزملائنا الأمريكيين فيما يتعلق بالأزمات في غزة ومناطق أخرى من العالم”.
وشدد نيبينزيا على أهمية العمل على استعادة آفاق التسوية السياسية في الشرق الأوسط على أساس القانون الدولي والقرارات المعروفة التي تنص على إقامة الدولة الفلسطينية على حدود عام 1967، وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية، وتتعايش في الأمن والسلام مع إسرائيل.
