الرئيس السيسي يطلع على تطورات مشروع “جريجي – GREGY” للربط الكهربائي مع أوروبا

صرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية المستشار أحمد فهمي أن الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي أجتمع اليوم “ديميتريس كوبيلوزوس” رئيس مجلس إدارة مجموعة “كوبيلوزوس” اليونانية للبنية التحتية، بحضور الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي رئيس مجلس الوزراء، والدكتور محمد شاكر، وزير الكهرباء والطاقة المتجددة، وعدد من كبار مسئولي الشركة.
وأشار المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن الرئيس اطلع خلال الاجتماع على تطورات مشروع “جريجي – GREGY” للربط الكهربائي مع أوروبا، خاصةً مع نجاح جهود إدراج المشروع في القائمة الأولى للمشروعات ذات الفائدة المشتركة بالاتحاد الأوروبي، بما يتيح المجال لبدء المرحلة المقبلة من تنفيذ المشروع، والخاصة بإعداد الدراسات الفنية والبيئية النهائية، وكذا الدراسة الخاصة بتحديد مسار كابلات الربط البحرية.
وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن الرئيس اطلع أيضاً على خطط المجموعة لإنتاج الطاقة المتجددة في مصر، وفي هذا الصدد استمع سيادته إلى عرض لجهود تعزيز العمل المشترك بين مصر والمجموعة لتنفيذ مشروع إنتاج ٩،٥ جيجاوات من طاقة الرياح والطاقة الكهروضوئية، بما سيمثل دعماً حقيقياً للاقتصاد المصري ويسهم في تعزيز جهود الانتقال للطاقة النظيفة في مصر وأوروبا.
وقد وجه الرئيس باستمرار وتسريع جهود التعاون بين الجانبين للانتهاء من المشروعات المطروحة في أقرب وقت ممكن، وتيسير كافة الإجراءات وتذليل العقبات التي يمكن أن تواجه المشروعات، مؤكداً حرص مصر على القيام بدور رئيسي في عمليات التحول الدولي للطاقة النظيفة بما يعود بالفائدة على مصر على المستويين الاقتصادي والبيئي، ومشيداً في هذا الصدد بالتعاون المشترك بين مصر واليونان في كافة المجالات، والذي يعكس العلاقة القوية بين البلدين.
