في قصة متداولة إن أصل المقولة بيرجع
في كتابه “عجائب الآثار في التراجم والأخبار”،
ذكر المؤرخ المصري عبد الرحمن الجبرتي إن (“بارم ديله”) كان لقب واحد من أكبر أمراء الدولة العثمانية اسمه “سليمان بك الأرمني”٠٠٠٠٠٠٠٠
إللي كان معروف بسليمان بك “بارم ذيله”. تولى “سليمان بك” رتبة “الصنجكية” إللي بتعادل دلوقتي رتبة اللواء سنة ١٦٩٠م٠٠٠٠٠٠٠٠
وبعد وفاته جه ابنه “عثمان جلبي” وبقى خليفة ليه ف منصبه. “عثمان” كان فارس شجاع وذكي محب لمطالعة الكتب وكان له دور مهم في الصراعات العسكرية في الوقت ده..
