في ذكرى رحيله.. كيف فضل كرم مطاوع جمهوره على مرضه في أيامه الأخيرة؟
بملامحه الجادة والهادئة وأدائه الرصين، اشتهر الفنان الراحل كرم مطاوع، ويصادف اليوم ذكرى وفاته. وشارك مطاوع في عدد كبير من الأعمال الفنية سواء المسرحية أو السينمائية أو الدرامية، وتفوق في معظمها، حيث كان حضوره بمثابة رأس الميزان في أي عمل فني.
كما اشتهر كرم مطاوع بحبه الكبير واحترامه لجمهوره وجمهوره، حتى في أيامه الأخيرة، ورغم تعبه الشديد حيث كان يعاني من مرض السرطان حينها، إلا أنه لم يرفض أي طلب للتصوير من محبيه، كما ذكرت ابنته الفنانة حنان مطاوع في إحدى اللقاءات التلفزيونية.
وقالت حنان مطاوع: “ذات مرة كنت مع والدي عندما كنت في المدرسة الثانوية، وكنا نذهب إلى المستشفى بسبب إصابته بالسرطان. كان في مراحله النهائية، وبين فترة وأخرى يأتي شخص ويطلب منه صورة أو توقيع، فيرد على ذلك بكل حب ويضحك، والناس لا تتخيل أنه لا يستطيع المشي”.
يُذكر أن أول أعمال كرم مطاوع كانت مسرحية “الفرافير” عام 1964، وبعدها شارك في مسرحية “ياسين وبهية” للكاتب الكبير نجيب سرور، وفي عام 1965 قدم مسرحية “الولد مهران” “، الذي قام بتمثيله وإخراجه.
ومن أهم الأعمال التي قدمها خلال مسيرته الفنية فيلم “سيد درويش” عام 1966، وشاركته البطولة آنذاك الفنانة هند رستم. ثم قدم فيلم “ضربة الشحاتين” الذي شاركته البطولة آنذاك الفنانة الكبيرة لبنى عبد العزيز، وهو من إخراج حسن الإمام.
ومن الأفلام التي شارك فيها: «أنا والعذاب وحبك»، و«ياسين وبهية»، و«لا تطفئ الشمس»، و«المنسي» الذي كان آخر أعماله الفنية عام 1993 مع فريق العمل. الزعيم عادل امام . كما شارك في عدد من المسلسلات منها: «الحرملك»، و«أرابيسك»، و«أم البنات»، و«الحفار»، و«الأنصار»، وغيرها من الأعمال.
وبعد مسيرة حافلة بالأعمال السينمائية والدرامية والمسرحية، رحل عن عمر يناهز 63 عاماً، عام 1996، بعد معاناة مع مرض سرطان الكبد.
