من ناحية أخرى، منعت شرطة الاحتلال المتمركزة على أبواب البلدة القديمة وأبواب المسجد الأقصى المواطنين من دخول المسجد الأقصى، ما أدى إلى انخفاض أعداد المصلين بشكل كبير..
وفي وقت سابق، اليوم الأربعاء، هدمت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي مبنى سكنيا في حي رأس العامود بالقدس المحتلة.
