بايدن: ضرباتنا العسكرية فى العراق تهدف لردع إيران
قال الرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن، اليوم الأربعاء، إن الضربات الجوية التي شنها الجيش الأمريكي في العراق تهدف إلى ردع إيران والفصائل المسلحة التي تدعمها طهران عن شن أو دعم هجمات على أفراد ومنشآت أمريكية.
نفذ الجيش الأمريكي ضربات جوية في العراق صباح الثلاثاء، ردا على هجوم بطائرة بدون طيار شنه مسلحون يوم الاثنين، مما أدى إلى إصابة جندي أمريكي بجروح خطيرة وإصابة اثنين آخرين.
وأضاف بايدن في رسالة إلى كبار قادة الكونجرس الأمريكي: “الضربات تهدف إلى تعطيل وعرقلة سلسلة من الهجمات ضد الولايات المتحدة وشركائنا، وردع إيران والجماعات المسلحة التي تدعمها عن شن أو دعم هجمات على أفراد وشركاء أمريكيين”. المنشآت.”
