التقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي مع الرئيس الإيراني “مسعود بزشكيان”، على هامش قمة تجمع البريكس المنعقدة بمدينة قازان في روسيا الاتحادية.
وذكر المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن الرئيسين اتفقا على أهمية الجهود المشتركة لاستكشاف آفاق تطوير العلاقات الثنائية، كما تبادلا وجهات النظر حول التطورات بالمنطقة، حيث أكد السيد الرئيس أهمية نزع فتيل التوتر الإقليمي وتفادي التصعيد غير المحسوب، الذي قد يدفع المنطقة برمتها إلى مواجهات خطيرة ذات تداعيات سلبية على الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي.
وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن السيد الرئيس استعرض في ذات السياق الجهود والاتصالات المصرية المكثفة لمحاولة دفع مسار التهدئة والتوصل لوقف إطلاق النار في غزة ولبنان، مؤكداً ضرورة حشد الجهود الدولية لحث جميع الأطراف على التعامل بإيجابية مع المساعي الرامية لاستعادة التهدئة بالمنطقة، بما يسمح بمعالجة الكارثة الإنسانية التي يعيشها المدنيون في فلسطين ولبنان.
