تحصين 104 آلاف رأس ماشية بالشرقية ضد الأمراض الوبائية
قامت مديرية الطب البيطري بالشرقية بتطعيم 104262 رأساً من الماشية للوقاية من مرض الحمى القلاعية وحمى الوادي المتصدع، وتسجيل 2477 رأساً من الماشية خلال الأسبوع الأول من انطلاق حملة التطعيم الوطنية الثالثة.
وأوضح الدكتور إبراهيم محمد متولي وكيل الوزارة ومدير مديرية الطب البيطري بالشرقية، أنه في إطار حملة التطعيم الوطنية الثالثة ضد مرض الحمى القلاعية وحمى الوادي المتصدع والتي بدأت أعمالها يوم 19 نوفمبر الجاري، المديرية ومن خلال 180 لجنة قامت بتحصين 104 آلاف خلال الأسبوع الأول من الحملة و262 رأساً من الماشية، بين تطعيم 52 ألفاً و481 رأساً للوقاية من مرض الحمى القلاعية، و51 ألفاً و781 رأساً للوقاية من حمى الوادي المتصدع، وإحصاء وتسجيل 2477 رأساً من الماشية، مشيراً إلى أن قامت المديرية بزيارات ميدانية للقرى في كافة مراكز ومدن المحافظة لنشر الوعي بأهمية التطعيم ضد مرض الحمى القلاعية وحمى الوادي المتصدع. تم عقد 820 ندوة وجولة إرشادية، وتسيير سيارات إرشادية متنقلة بين القرى لتعريف المربين بالمرضين وأعراضهما ومدى خطورتهما على الثروة الحيوانية، وأهمية التطعيم بشكل دوري لتجنب إصابة الحيوانات بالمرض. المرضين وتقليل الخسائر الناتجة عنهما.
ولتسهيل على المواطنين أضاف مدير مديرية الطب البيطري أن لجان التطعيم بدأت عملها في المقار المعدة لها أو بالانتقال إلى المربين في منازلهم لتطعيم الحيوانات وترقيمها، مشيداً باهتمام المواطنين بالحملة نظراً إلى زيادة الوعي البيطري بخطورة المرض وأهمية التطعيم القصوى لتحقيق أهداف الحملة الوطنية للحفاظ على الثروة الحيوانية. المحافظة على إنتاجيتها وزيادة إنتاجيتها.
وذلك في إطار الاهتمام بالثروة الحيوانية وتقديم الدعم والرعاية البيطرية لحمايتها من الأمراض، والعمل على زيادة إنتاجيتها لتلبية احتياجات السوق المحلي.
