اصطحب أب ابنه البالغ من العمر 4 سنوات، وهو يرتدي الزي المموه، ويرفع العلم المصري بيده، أمام لجنة علي مبارك الانتخابية الواقعة داخل حي شرق بمحافظة بورسعيد.
جاء ذلك لدى توجه الوالد إلى اللجنة للإدلاء بصوته في الانتخابات الرئاسية 2024، تعبيراً عن مشاركته الإيجابية في العملية الانتخابية، وحثاً لطفله على حب الوطن والانتماء إليه.
وتعد الانتخابات الرئاسية 2024 خامس انتخابات رئاسية متعددة الأحزاب تشهدها البلاد في تاريخها الحديث، وتكتسب انتخابات 2024 أهميتها الإضافية من كونها خطوة كبيرة في طريق الدولة نحو التحول الديمقراطي والتعددية الحزبية والتنافسية السياسية، والتي جاء ذلك بعد عام ونصف من الحوار الوطني الجاد وغير المسبوق، الذي ضم كافة المكونات السياسية والنقابية والمجتمع المدني المصري.
وتضم قائمة المرشحين في الانتخابات الرئاسية: المرشح الرئاسي عبد الفتاح السيسي رمز النجم، المرشح الرئاسي فريد زهران رئيس الحزب المصري الديمقراطي رمز الشمس، المرشح الرئاسي عبد السند يمامة رئيس حزب مصر. حزب الوفد رمز النخلة، والمرشح الرئاسي حازم عمر رمز السلام.
وتضم محافظة بورسعيد 533233 ناخبًا، موزعين على 67 مقرًا انتخابيًا، مع 75 لجنة انتخابية ضمن 7 أحياء ومدينة بورفؤاد، بالإضافة إلى 5 لجان انتخابية للوافدين.
واستعدت المحافظة بأجهزتها التنفيذية لتجهيز المقر الانتخابي، من خلال توفير وتوفير التسهيلات اللازمة لتسهيل عملية التصويت للناخبين، ومواصلة التنسيق بين رؤساء المناطق ومديري المدارس أثناء العملية الانتخابية، وتوفير كافة وسائل الراحة. للقائمين عليها، فضلاً عن توفير عدد من الكراسي المتحركة لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة. وكبار السن وصنع المظلات وتجهيز معدات الإطفاء في المراكز الانتخابية واللجان العامة.
ورفعت الوحدات المحلية الإشغال في محيط اللجان، كما تم توفير حرم جامعي آمن لكل لجنة لتسهيل على المواطنين عند الإدلاء بأصواتهم.
