وزير الطاقة السعودى: المملكة رائدة فى مجال تحول الطاقة
أكد وزير الطاقة السعودي الأمير عبد العزيز بن سلمان، أن تحول الطاقة يمكّن المملكة من الموازنة بين خفض الانبعاثات ونشاطها النفطي.
وقال الوزير -في لقاء مع قناة العربية- إن «فريقاً متكاملاً من المملكة شارك في مفاوضات مؤتمر الأطراف 28، ولسنا غرباء على منهجية تحول الطاقة ونحن رواد فيها».
وأضاف أن البيان الختامي لـ (كوب 28) لم ينص على التخلص الفوري أو التدريجي من الوقود الأحفوري، بل عملية تحول، مشيراً إلى أن برامج المملكة تعمل على تقليل البصمة الكربونية لمنتجاتنا.
وشدد على أن اتفاقية كوب 28 قدمت بدائل، ولكن دون تقييد حرية الدول.
ورحب مندوب السعودية في قمة كوب 28 بالاتفاق الذي تم التوصل إليه اليوم الأربعاء، وقال إن نتائج المحادثات أظهرت مسارات مختلفة ستسمح لنا بتحقيق هدف 1.5 درجة مئوية بما يتماشى مع خصائص كل دولة وفي العالم. سياق التنمية المستدامة.”
وأضاف: “علينا استغلال كل فرصة لتقليل الانبعاثات بغض النظر عن مصدرها، وعلينا استخدام كافة التقنيات لتحقيق هذا الهدف”.
