تلسكوب هابل يستأنف عملياته الفضائية بعد إصلاح الخلل
تمكنت وكالة ناسا من إعادة تشغيل تلسكوب هابل في الفضاء بعد إصلاح الخلل، حيث دخل المرصد المداري في الوضع الآمن التلقائي في نوفمبر، وبعد سلسلة من الانتكاسات المتعلقة بأحد أدوات التوجيه الخاصة به، استأنف تلسكوب هابل الفضائي الآن مهمته التقاط صور للفضاء السحيق.
وبحسب ما أورد موقع “الفضاء”، كشفت وكالة ناسا أن المرصد الشهير استأنف عملياته العلمية، وجاء في البيان: “المركبة الفضائية بصحة جيدة وتعمل مرة أخرى باستخدام جميع جيروسكوباتها الثلاثة”.
بدأت مشاكل التلسكوب في 19 نوفمبر، عندما بدأ أحد الجيروسكوبات الثلاثة المميزة للمرصد في إعطاء قراءات خاطئة. الجيروسكوبات هي أجهزة تستخدم إما أشعة ضوئية متداولة أو عجلات تدور بسرعة لمساعدة العلماء على التأكد من أن الجسم يواجه الاتجاه الذي يريدون أن يواجهه.
وكان للخلل تأثير كبير على القياسات العلمية، إذ لتصوير بقعة معينة في الفضاء السحيق باستخدام هذا التلسكوب الذي يدور حول الأرض، يجب التأكد من أنها تواجه تلك البقعة في الفضاء السحيق.
