رئيس الاوكسا ونائب رئيس جمهورية غانا يحتفلون مع شعب غانا

رئيس الاوكسا ومعالي نائب رئيس جمهورية غانا يحتفلوا مع شعب غانا واللجنة العليا المنظمة باطلاق العد التنازلي 100 يوم على دورة الالعاب الافريقية اكرا 2023. 

في يوم 29 نوفمبر 2023 في احتفالية كبيرة انطلقت من جامعة اكرا ،وبحضور نائب رئيس جمهورية غانا الدكتور محمد بوميا تم الإعلان رسميًا عن بدء العد التنازلي لمدة 100 يوم على الالعاب الأفريقية النسخة الثالثة عشرة و من خلال هذا الإعلان، ألقى اللواء أحمد ناصر، رئيس اتحادية الكونفدراليات الرياضية الافريقية (الاوكسا) ونائب رئيس اللجنة الفنية العليا للألعاب الأفريقية، كلمة بحضور وزير الشباب والرياضة في غانا السيد مصطفى يوسف، و العديد من السادة الوزراء بغانا والسادة نواب البرلمان الغاني ولفيف من الشعب الغاني ممثل للطوائف المختلفة واللجنة الفنية العليا للدورة.

وخلال كلمته اشاد رئيس الاوكسا بالمرافق الرياضية الحديثة في مجمع بورتيمان الرياضي وجامعة غانا، مما يُظهر التزام غانا بقيادة فخامة الرئيس نانا أكوفو أدو بتطوير وتعزيز الرياضة في جميع أنحاء غانا.

كما أكد رئيس الاوكسا على أهمية العد التنازلي لمدة 100 يوم، داعيًا إلى التفاف الجميع لمضاعفة العمل من اجل خروج دورة الالعاب الافريقية بغانا بالشكل الملائم والمناسب لها في العالم وليس افريقيا فقط. كما أعرب عن ثقته في قدرة غانا على استضافة فعاليات ناجحة، مستشهدًا بفعاليات الاوكسا الناجحة التي انعقدت مؤخرًا في القاهرة واشاد بجمهورية مصر العربية وحكومتها في دعم الرياضة الافريقية من خلال الاوكسا والتزام قادة الرياضة الأفريقية بالمشاركة في الالعاب الافريقية بغانا.

كما شدد على اعتبار الألعاب الأفريقية منصة للوحدة والتنوع، وفرصة للأفارقة من جميع أنحاء القارة والعالم للتجمع وإظهار غنى الثقافة الأفريقية.

واختتم كلمته بدعوة جميع الاطراف إلى مضاعفة العمل، وحث جميع الشركاء على مضاعفة جهودهم والتعاون لإتمام الاستعدادات والدعوة بشكل خاص إلى لمضاعفة العمل معا وبذل اكبر من الجهد لنجاح الألعاب الافريقية والتأكيد على ان غانا مستعدة للترحيب بهم لتحقيق حلم إفريقي لا يُنسى.

وقد صاحب رئيس الاوكسا الوفد المكون من: بنيني كابينجا النائب الثاني للاوكسا والدكتور عماد البناني الامين العام للاوكسا والدكتورة ندا مشعل المدير التنفيذي.

AASC President and H.E. The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana AlHaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, Celebrate with Ghanaian People, TCAG and the Local Organizing Committee the Launch of the 100-Day Countdown to the African Games 13th Edition in 

Accra.

On November 29, 2023, in a grand ceremony that kicked off from the University of Accra, in the presence of H.E the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the official announcement was made of the start of the 100-day countdown to the 13th edition of the African Games. 

Through this announcement, Major General Ahmed Nasser, President of the Association of African Sports Confederations (UCSA) and VC of the TCAG for the African Games, delivered a speech in the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports in Ghana, Hon. Mustafa Ussif, and many Ministers in Ghana, members of the Ghanaian parliament, a delegation of Ghanaian people representing different communities, and the Higher Technical Committee of the Games.

During his speech, the AASC President commended the modern sports facilities at the Borteyman Sports Complex and the University of Ghana, which demonstrate Ghana’s commitment under the leadership of His Excellency President Nana Akufo-Addo to develop and promote sports throughout Ghana.

The President of AASC also stressed the significance of the 100-day countdown, urging all partners and parties to increase their collaboration and redouble their efforts to guarantee that the African Games in Ghana are staged suitably and properly on the global stage, not just in Africa. He also expressed faith in Ghana’s capacity to host fruitful events, citing previous AASC successful events held in Cairo in which the Egyptian Government was commended for backing African sports through AASC. Also, the determination of African sports leaders to partake in the African Games in Ghana was acknowledged and emphasized.

In which the African Games are recognized as a platform for unity in diversity, a chance for Africans from all corners of the Continent and the world to come together and showcase the richness of African culture.

The speech concluded with a call to action, urging all stakeholders to double their efforts and collaborate to finalize preparations. Unity was specifically called upon to promote the Games and inform Africa and the world that Ghana is ready to welcome them to experience an unforgettable African dream.

The AASC President was accompanied by a delegation consisting of: Dr. Peninah Kabenge, AASC Vice-President; Dr. Emad El-Banany, the AASC Secretary-General; and Dr. Nada Mashal, the Executive Director.
