صرح المتحدث الرسمى لرئاسة الجمهورية بأن الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي تلقى اتصالاً هاتفياً من “شوكت ميرضيائيف” رئيس أوزبكستان، الذي هنأ د الرئيس على فوزه بولاية رئاسية جديدة، متمنياً استمرار مسيرة التعاون بين البلدين، التي شهدت تطوراً كبيراً في الأعوام الأخيرة،
ومن جانبه توجه الرئيس بالشكر لرئيس أوزبكستان على الاتصال، مؤكداً حرص مصر على استمرار التعاون مع أوزبكستان، وتوسيعه ليشمل مختلف المجالات، فضلاً عن استمرار التشاور والتنسيق بشأن القضايا الدولية محل اهتمام الطرفين، بما يحقق مصالح الشعبين.
