وقال الدكتور أشرف القدرة الناطق باسم وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية، إن الواقع في غزة مؤلم للغاية، وخاصة النظام الصحي الذي يتلقى يوميا ضربات موجعة من الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، لافتا إلى أن 312 من الكوادر الصحية استشهدوا منذ بداية العدوان بما فيها من نماذج وطاقات إنسانية نوعية. اعتقال 99 من الكوادر الطبية، في مقدمتهم مديرو المستشفيات في شمال قطاع غزة. كل هذا يجعل النظام الصحي هشاً ومنهاراً بشكل كبير.
وأضاف القدرة، في مداخلة مع الإعلامية رغدة منير، عبر قناة القاهرة نيوز، أن الاحتلال يستهدف مركز كافة مستشفيات قطاع غزة، وهذا بدأ مع بداية العدوان عندما خنق الصحة ومنعت دخول المستلزمات الطبية والوقود، وقطعت الكهرباء والماء. وحول المستشفيات والأحياء السكنية، أكد أن النظام الصحي في شمال قطاع غزة دمر بشكل كامل، وأنهى الاحتلال الوجود الصحي في شمال القطاع، وأصبح أكثر من 800 ألف نسمة في هذه المنطقة بدون خدمات صحية بشكل كامل.
وتابع الناطق باسم وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية أن الاحتلال استهدف المؤسسات الصحية، وقصف 142 مؤسسة صحية، مما أدى إلى خروج 23 مستشفى عن الخدمة، و53 مؤسسة ومركز صحي خارج الخدمة بشكل كامل، إضافة إلى خروج 104 سيارات إسعاف عن الخدمة. الخدمة بعد التدمير الكامل.
