وضع الرئيس الموريتاني محمد ولد الشيخ الغزواني، الخميس، حجر الأساس لمشروع تغطية المناطق الحدودية الجنوبية بخدمات الاتصالات التي تبلغ كلفته حوالي سبعة مليارات أوقية.
وقال وزير التحول الرقمي الموريتاني محمد عبد الله لولي، إن هذا المشروع يهدف إلى تزويد المناطق الجنوبية بشبكات اتصال إلكترونية حديثة، مع تعزيز الشبكة القائمة في المحافظات بخط يبلغ طوله 1600 كيلومتر.
