أعلنت المتحدثة باسم وزارة الخارجية الروسية ماريا زاخاروفا أن واشنطن ستواجه العديد من المشاكل الداخلية بغض النظر عن نتائج الانتخابات الرئاسية.
وقالت زاخاروفا -في تصريحات نقلتها وكالة “تاس” الروسية للأنباء- إن “النظام الأمريكي برمته، ليس فقط السياسي الداخلي، بل الاقتصادي أيضا، فضلا عن السياسي الخارجي والدولي، يعاني من أزمة عميقة”.“.
يُشار إلى أنه من المقرر إجراء الانتخابات الرئاسية الأمريكية المقبلة في نوفمبر 2024. وفي 25 أبريل، صرح الرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن بأنه سيسعى لإعادة انتخابه. كما أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب في نوفمبر 2022 ترشحه للانتخابات الرئاسية.
وسبق أن صرح وزير الخارجية الروسي سيرغي لافروف، أن حملة الانتخابات الرئاسية في الولايات المتحدة تشهد بالفعل قدرا كبيرا من التوتر والحدة، ولن تمر دون مفاجآت، مضيفا “دعونا ننتظر الانتخابات الأميركية. ويبقى هناك طريق طويل لقطعه. وليس من الواضح كيف ستسير الحملة الرئاسية». “إنها تظهر بالفعل توتراً حاداً ومكثفاً. ومن الواضح أنها لن تمر دون مفاجآت”.“.
