دعت الخارجية الروسية الأطراف المعنية في الشرق الأوسط إلى ضبط النفس، وذكّرت بتحذيرات موسكو من أن الفشل في حل أزمات المنطقة وفي مقدمتها الصراع الفلسطيني الإسرائيلي، سيؤجج الوضع.
وأضافت الخارجية الروسية في بيانها: “نعرب عن قلقنا البالغ إزاء أي تصعيد خطير آخر في المنطقة، وحذرنا مرارا من أن الفشل في حل أزمات الشرق الأوسط وفي مقدمتها الصراع الفلسطيني الإسرائيلي، سيؤدي إلى زيادة التوتر”.
وقالت: “نظرا لموقف الأعضاء الغربيين، لم يتمكن مجلس الأمن الدولي من الرد بشكل مناسب على الهجوم على القنصلية الإيرانية. نعرب عن قلقنا البالغ إزاء أي تصعيد خطير آخر في المنطقة”.
ودعت جميع الأطراف المعنية إلى ضبط النفس، وأعربت عن “أملها في أن تحل دول المنطقة المشاكل العالقة بالوسائل السياسية والدبلوماسية وبمساهمة من اللاعبين الدوليين، أصحاب المواقف البناءة”.
وأهابت بالمواطنين الروس في إسرائيل والدول المجاورة وخاصة في الأردن ولبنان وسوريا متابعة توصيات الخارجية الروسية عبر مواقعها.
