يحتفل نادي السيارات والسياحة المصري بالذكرى المئوية لتأسيسه بسلسلة من الفعاليات التي تستمر على مدار العام. ومن أبرز هذه الاحتفالات ولأول مرة في مصر إستضافة النادى لإجتماعات الربيع للنطاق الأول للاتحاد الدولي للسيارات FIA بصفته الممثل الوحيد له في مصر .
وبحضور أكثر من 180 من قادة ورؤساء أندية السيارات من 90 دولة، من أوروبا والشرق الأوسط ومجلس التعاون الخليجي وأفريقيا في الفترة من 13- 16 مايو الجارى.
ويعد ذلك مناسبة للأندية من أوروبا وإفريقيا والشرق الأوسط لمراجعة إنجازات العام الماضي وتبادل الخبرات والتخطيط للتطورات المستقبلية من خلال برنامج ثري من الاجتماعات وورش العمل وفرصة أيضاً للتواصل وتبادل الخبرات.
وسيترأس هذه الجلسات فى الأيام القليلة القادمة السيد خورخي ديلجادو، رئيس المنطقةًالأولي للاتحاد الدولي للسيارات، بمشاركة كبيرة من رئيس الاتحاد الدولي للسيارات السيد محمد بن سٌليم والذى يعتبر أول عربى يرأس هذا المنصب الرفيع المستوى وبحضور نوابه وشخصيات بارزة أخرى في عالم رياضة السيارات العالمية.
كما سيجتمع بن سُليم مع متسابقي السيارات والكارتينج يوم الثلاثاء 14مايو لمناقشة تطورات الوضع والرؤية المستقبلية لهذه السباقات في الفترة المقبلة. ويعد هذا التجمع غير المسبوق في مصر بمثابة تكريم واحتفال بتاريخ نادي السيارات والسياحة المصري الذي يعود تاريخه إلى 100 عام.
