أكد الدكتور عمرو طلعت وزير الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات أن هناك اتجاها عالميا نحو زيادة الاهتمام بتكنولوجيات الحوسبة السحابية لحفظ الكم الكبير الذي ينتجه العالم في اليوم الواحد من البيانات والذي يصل إلى نحو 2.5 مليار جيجا بايت.
جاء ذلك – وفقا لبيان صاد عن الوزارة مساء اليوم /الثلاثاء/ – في كلمة الدكتور عمرو طلعت خلال فعاليات قمة “هواوى كلاوود” التي نظمتها شركة هواوي بحضور تشانج تشاو يانج الوزير المفوض بسفارة جمهورية الصين الشعبية لدى مصر.
وأضاف أن مصر أطلقت سياسة الحوسبة السحابية أولا من خلال المجلس الأعلى للمجتمع الرقمي إدراكا منها بأهمية تكنولوجيا الحوسبة السحابية وما تتيحه من مميزات اقتصادية وتكنولوجية حيث تمكن الجهات الحكومية من تجنب أي هدر في مواردها الحوسبية، وأن تضفي على منتجاتها الحوسبية مرونة في استخدام المزيد من الموارد دون تخطيط طويل مسبق.
