اتفاقيات جديدة للتنقيب عن البترول والغاز في مصر

أعلنت وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية المصرية عن توقيع اتفاقيتين استثماريتين بقيمة إجمالية تبلغ 340 مليون دولار مع شركات عالمية، بهدف تعزيز إنتاج النفط والغاز في مناطق البحر المتوسط وخليج السويس.
وتم توقيع الاتفاق الأول مع شركتي شل وبتروناس الماليزية وتبلغ قيمته 222 مليون دولار، وذلك لزيادة استخراج الغاز الطبيعي من غرب الدلتا البحرية العميقة، ويتضمن أيضا حفر ثلاث آبار جديدة وإنشاء تسهيلات بحرية لدعم الإنتاج.
كما تم التوقيع على الاتفاق الثاني بقيمة 120 مليون دولار مع شركة كايرون إنرجي؛ لزيادة إنتاج البترول في خليج السويس، ويشمل حفر تسع آبار، منها ثلاث استكشافية، بهدف رفع معدلات الإنتاج اليومية.
