اجرى فريق طبي متخصص بالجراحة العامة في مستشفى الكرخ العام ببغداد عملية جراحية لاستئصال الغدة الدرقية الكلي النازلة الى القفص الصدري لمريضة بعمر (43) عام
وأوضح رئيس الفريق الطبي الدكتور محمد حكمت ان المريضة كانت تعاني من اختناق مستمر وصعوبة في البلع، مبيناً بعد اجراء كافة الفحوصات الطبية اللازمة تبين انها تعاني من العقيدات الدرقية والتي هي نمو غير طبيعي للخلايا الدرقية داخل الغدة الدرقية، مؤكداً ان العملية تكللت بالنجاح والمريضة بحالة صحية جيدة .
