حريق هائل في مطرانيه الارثوذوكس ببني سويف
شهدت مطرانية بني سويف للأقباط الأرثوذكس، التي يرأسها الأنبا غبريال، أسقف المطرانية، حريقًا هائلًا في الساعات الأخيرة من مساء السبت، خلف آثارًا مدمرة على المبنى وأدى إلى إصابة 13 شخصًا بحالات اختناق.

الحريق الذي اندلع في مبنى خدمات تابع للكنيسة، تم السيطرة عليه بواسطة قوات الحماية المدنية بمساعدة أهالي بني سويف.
وأعلنت قوات الحماية المدنية المصرية سيطرتها على الحريق، ولفتت إلى أن الحريق تسبب في تدمير جزء كبير من المبنى، حيث التهمت النيران أكثر من طابق في مبنى خدمات الكنيسة، بالإضافة إلى مكتبتها وجزء من سكن الأسقف. كما امتدت النيران إلى خيمة كانت تستخدم للصلاة في ساحة الكنيسة، وذلك بسبب وجود أعمال صيانة داخل الكنيسة نفسها.
