اصدر عدد من الجهات الفنيه بدولة الكويت في مقدمتها المسرح الشعبي المسرح الكويتي ومسرح الخليج العربي ونقابة الفنانين والإعلاميين وجمعية الفنانين الكويتيه بيان رسمي قالت فيه ان كافة القطاعات المسرحيه بدولة الكويت تؤكد على المكانة التاريخية والريادية للحركة المسرحية الكويتية التي صنعها رواد المسرح الكويتي المؤسسين له خلال العقود الماضية.،
واشاد بالدور الكبير الذي لعبه رجالات المسرح بالكويت من خلال عضويتهم بالمنظمات والاتحادات واللجان المسرحية على المستوى الدولي والعربي والخليجي للمحافظة على مكانة دولة الكويت الريادي في مجال المسرح،
وأكد البيان رفضه لأي تغيير في تسمية مقاعد اللجنة الدائمة للفرق المسرحية الأهلية الخليجية،
واكد على بقاء مقعد الكويت بصفتها نائب رئيس اللجنة الدائمة للفرق المسرحية الأهلية الخليجية دون أي تغيير وذلك لمكانة ودور المسرح الكويتي الريادي عبر التاريخ ، ونؤيد كافة الإجراءات التي يتم اتخاذها بهذا الخصوص .
