التقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، اليوم، بالرئيس التركي “رجب طيب أردوغان”، وذلك على هامش قمة الدول الثماني النامية للتعاون الاقتصادي، والتي تعقد بالعاصمة الإدارية الجديدة.
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن الرئيسين قد أكدا على ضرورة مواصلة تعزيز التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين في كافة المجالات، بما يتفق مع مصالح الدولتين وشعبيهما، حيث تم استعراض سبل تطوير العلاقات الثنائية وخاصةً في المجالات الاقتصادية والتجارية والاستثمارية.
وأضاف السفير محمد الشناوي المتحدث الرسمي أن اللقاء تناول تطورات الأوضاع في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، حيث تم التأكيد على ضرورة تكثيف التنسيق والتشاور بين البلدين حيال الأزمات في المنطقة لضمان إحلال السلام والاستقرار. وفي هذا الإطار، تم استعراض الجهود المصرية للتوصل الى اتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزة وإخلاء سبيل الرهائن والمحتجزين ونفاذ المساعدات الإنسانية لأهالي القطاع دون قيود أو عراقيل. من جانبه، اعرب الرئيس التركي عن تقديره للجهود المصرية، مؤكدا إتفاقه مع السيد الرئيس على أن إقامة الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة على خطوط الرابع من يونيو ١٩٦٧ وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية هي الضمانة الأساسية لاستعادة السلام والاستقرار في الإقليم.
وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي أن اللقاء تناول أيضاً الأوضاع في سوريا، حيث أكد السيد الرئيس على ضرورة الحفاظ على وحدة واستقلال سوريا وسلامة أراضيها، وتدشين عملية سياسية سورية تضم كافة أطياف المجتمع وقواه لتحقيق مصالحة وطنية وضمان نجاح العملية الانتقالية.
كما تم خلال اللقاء تناول الأوضاع في دول المنطقة، وبشكل خاص في ليبيا والسودان والصومال وسوريا، حيث تم التأكيد على أهمية حماية سيادة تلك الدول وسلامة أراضيها وأمنها، بما يحقق لشعوبها الأمن والسلام، كما أكد الجانبان إدانتهما للانتهاكات الإسرائيلية للأراضي السورية، مشددين على ضرورة الوقف الفوري لتلك الانتهاكات.
