إستقبل اللواء خالد شعيب محافظ مطروح بمكتبه اليوم الأربعاء الاستاذ محمد الدعيلج مدير المراسم بالقنصلية السعودية بالإسكندرية ، حيث أهدت القنصلية للمحافظة نسخ من المصحف الشريف بعدد ٤٠٠ نسخة مصحف تفسير و٤٠٠ نسخة من المصحف المعلم ،و١٠٠٠ نسخة مصحف من الحجم الكبير و٢٠٠٠ نسخة مصحف حجم وسط ) اصدارات مجمع الملك فهد ل طباعة المصحف الشريف بالمملكة العربية السعودية.
ووجه محافظ مطروح بالغ الشكر والتقدير نيابة عن جميع أهالى المحافظة للسفير مزيد بن محمد الهويشان قنصل المملكة بالإسكندرية، على الهدية القيمة كتاب الله تعالى خاصة مع قرب الاحتفال بالمولد النبوى الشريف ، مؤكداً على عمق العلاقة الاخوية والتعاون بين الشقيقتين مصر والمملكة العربية السعودية
وأشار محافظ مطروح إلى أنه سيتم توزيع نسخ المصحف الشريف على مساجد المحافظة و مديرية الأوقاف ومنطقة الأزهر الشريف ومعاهدها ومجالس المدن الثمانية على مستوى المحافظة .
