وقال الدكتور ممدوح محمد السيد، عميد كلية التربية الرياضية بجامعة سوهاج، “أدعو الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي لخوض الانتخابات الرئاسية من أجل استكمال الإنجازات التي بدأها على أرض الواقع”. في كافة أنحاء مصر، وخاصة في مجال التعليم الذي حظي باهتمام كبير وغير مسبوق في عهد الرئيس السيسي. خلال الجامعات الجديدة.
وأضاف الدكتور ممدوح محمد السيد: الرئيس وجه بضرورة إنشاء جامعة لكل مليون نسمة، وهذا يدل على اهتمام الرئيس السيسي بالعلم والمتعلم من أجل مواكبة التطور التكنولوجي والعلمي على مستوى العالم أجمع. تم إنشاء 95 جامعة منها جامعات حكومية، وجامعات خاصة، وجامعات خاصة، وجامعات تكنولوجية، وفروع لجامعات أجنبية.
