جوتيريش: أجدد مناشدتى بوقف إطلاق النار ويجب حماية المدنيين فى غزة
أعرب الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريس، عن فزعه من الهجوم المروع الذي تعرض له قافلة سيارات الإسعاف خارج مستشفى الشفاء بغزة، موضحا أن صور الجثث المتناثرة في الشارع خارج المستشفى مروعة.
وقال غوتيريس، في بيان له، السبت، إن المدنيين في غزة، بينهم أطفال ونساء، محاصرون منذ ما يقرب من شهر، ويحرمون من المساعدات، ويقتلون ويقصفون، مشددا على ضرورة وقف ذلك.
وأكد أن الوضع الإنساني في غزة مروع، مشيراً إلى عدم وجود ما يكفي من الغذاء والماء والدواء لتلبية احتياجات الناس، وأن الوقود اللازم لتشغيل المستشفيات ومحطات المياه على وشك النفاد.
وأوضح أن أعداد النازحين في ملاجئ الأونروا تفوق الطاقة الاستيعابية لتلك الملاجئ بنحو أربعة أضعاف أثناء قصفها، مؤكدا أن المشارح تفيض، والمحلات التجارية فارغة، وحالة الصرف الصحي مزرية، مع زيادة في انتشار الأمراض والتهابات الجهاز التنفسي، وخاصة بين الأطفال، ولا يوجد أي مكان آمن لهم.
وجدد غوتيريش دعواته السابقة لوقف إطلاق النار لأسباب إنسانية، مشددا على ضرورة احترام القانون الإنساني الدولي وحماية المدنيين والبنية التحتية المدنية، بما في ذلك العاملين في المجال الإنساني والطبي وأصولهم.
وشدد الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة على ضرورة السماح بدخول الإمدادات والخدمات الأساسية ووصول المساعدات الإنسانية دون عوائق إلى غزة ومحيطها بطريقة آمنة وعلى نطاق يتناسب مع هذا الوضع المأساوي. وقال: “على جميع أصحاب النفوذ ممارسة نفوذهم لضمان احترام قواعد الحرب وإنهاء المعاناة وتجنب امتداد الصراع الذي “قد يمتد إلى المنطقة بأكملها”.
