وافق مجلس الشيوخ التشيكي على حزمة التقشف الحكومية التي تهدف إلى خفض العجز المتزايد في الإنفاق العام بمقدار 150 مليار كرونة تشيكية بحلول عام 2025.
وذكرت إذاعة براغ الدولية، الخميس، أنه بعد مناقشة استمرت قرابة سبع ساعات، تم التصويت لصالح تمرير الحزمة بأغلبية 53 صوتا من أصل 74 عضوا حضروا الجلسة.
ويجب الآن مراجعة الحزمة وتوقيعها من قبل رئيس البلاد، بيتر بافيل، لتصبح قانونًا.
