وزارة الصحة: ارتفاع معدلات الإصابة بالفيروسات التنفسية مع دخول الشتاء
وقالت وزارة الصحة والسكان، إن الأدلة الواردة من مراكز الترصد التابعة للوزارة تشير إلى ارتفاع معدلات الإصابة بفيروسات الجهاز التنفسي بسبب دخول فصل الشتاء هذا العام، وهي نفس المعدلات المسجلة مع بداية الشتاء خلال السنوات الأربع الماضية.
رفعت وزارة الصحة درجة الاستعداد في مستشفيات الأمراض الصدرية على مستوى الدولة، تزامنا مع قدوم فصل الشتاء، لتقديم كافة خدمات الرعاية الصحية لمرضى الجهاز التنفسي، وجميع الحالات التي تزور المستشفيات التي تعاني من أعراض الأنفلونزا الموسمية ونزلات البرد.
وأكدت أنه يتم تكثيف تواجد الأطباء والممرضين والصيادلة مع توفير كافة الأدوية واللقاحات الخاصة بتطعيمات الأنفلونزا الموسمية، بالإضافة إلى تدريب الأطباء والصيادلة وتطعيم كافة أفراد الفريق الطبي ضد كورونا والأنفلونزا الموسمية.
وقال الدكتور وجدي أمين مدير عام الإدارة المركزية للشئون الصدرية بوزارة الصحة، إنه تم رفع درجة الاستعداد في 32 مستشفى صدري على مستوى الجمهورية. وأشار إلى أن المخزون الاستراتيجي آمن والمستشفيات تتوفر فيها الأدوية ويتم صرفها للمريض في العيادات الخارجية مجانا.
وأضاف أنه يتم تخصيص وحدات ترصد بالمستشفيات للكشف عن حالات الإصابة بالأنفلونزا الموسمية أو الطفرات الفيروسية المختلفة أو الفيروسات التنفسية الجديدة.
وأشار إلى أن الوزارة لديها نظام ترصد وبائي قوي للأمراض المعدية في 27 منشأة، وأكد أن الفيروس المخلوي التنفسي ليس مرضا خطيرا لكن معدلات انتشاره مرتفعة، وفترة حضانة الفيروس من 4 إلى 4 6 أيام، وتستغرق فترة التعافي من أسبوع إلى أسبوعين.
