اختتمت فعاليات المعرض الدولي الثالث للصناعات الدفاعية ” إيديكس 2023 ” والذي تم تنظيمه خلال الفترة من 4 إلى 7 ديسمبر بمركز مصر الدولي للمعارض والمؤتمرات تحت رعاية السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس الجمهورية القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة وبمشاركة كبار العارضين والشركات العالمية في مجال التسليح والصناعات الدفاعية. والأمن على الصعيدين الإقليمي والدولي بحضور العديد من وزراء الدفاع ورؤساء الأركان ووفود عسكرية رفيعة المستوى من مختلف دول العالم.
وشهد المعرض حضوراً جماهيرياً كبيراً خلال أيامه الأربعة من مختلف جنسيات العالم، مما يعكس مدى نجاح تنظيم هذا الحدث الدولي على أراضي مصر، بالإضافة إلى المشاركة الفعالة لمختلف شركات التسليح العالمية الكبرى ومشاركة مصر. في جناح مميز يحتوي على صناعات عسكرية متطورة تعبر عن طريق مصر الصحيح نحو تأميم المجال. الصناعات التسليحية والدفاعية مما يساهم في صقل دور مصر المحوري كأحد أهم المراكز القيادية في المنطقة.
كما شهدت فعاليات المعرض على مدار أيامه لقاءات موسعة مع الفريق محمد زكي القائد العام للقوات المسلحة وزير الدفاع والإنتاج الحربي، والفريق أسامة عسكر رئيس أركان حرب القوات المسلحة، وقادة القوات المسلحة. الأفرع الرئيسية، وكبار قادة القوات المسلحة مع وفود الدول المشاركة وكبرى شركات التسليح العالمية، بهدف تعزيز علاقات التعاون العسكري والشراكة الاستراتيجية مع الدول الصديقة والشقيقة، فيما حضر وزراء دفاع ورؤساء أركان حرب الدول الصديقة. وأعربت الدول الشقيقة خلال اللقاءات عن سعادتها البالغة بحضور فعاليات المعرض الذي يعد من أكبر المعارض المتخصصة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا، بما يعبر عن مكانة مصر الإقليمية والدولية.
وعلى هامش المعرض، وقعت القوات المسلحة المصرية عدة مذكرات تفاهم بهدف تبادل الخبرات في المجالات العسكرية المختلفة.
وأيضا القائد العام للقوات المسلحة ووزير الدفاع والإنتاج الحربي ورئيس أركان حرب القوات المسلحة
وتضمنت الجولات التفقدية لأجنحة المعرض المختلفة معروضات من مختلف الشركات العالمية والعالمية والمحلية لأحدث المعدات والتقنيات والأنظمة الأمنية المتطورة في مجال الصناعات الدفاعية.
وحرص القائد العام للقوات المسلحة على التقاط عدد من الصور التذكارية مع عدد من الحضور
والمنظمون والشباب المتطوعين المشاركون من وزارة الشباب والرياضة في تنظيم فعاليات هذا الحدث الدولي
تقديراً لجهودهم التنظيمية طوال فعاليات المعرض.
كما شهد المعرض حضورا إعلاميا كثيفا من مختلف وسائل الإعلام المحلية والأجنبية لتغطية فعاليات هذا الحدث الدولي الضخم.
