اختيار السعودية لرئاسة لجنة الشؤون النقدية والمالية بصندوق النقد
أعلن صندوق النقد الدولي، الأربعاء، اختيار السعودية لرئاسة لجنة الشؤون النقدية والمالية الدولية، التي تقدم الدعم لمجلس محافظي صندوق النقد الدولي في مجال الرقابة على النظام النقدي والمالي العالمي.
وبهذه المناسبة، أوضح وزير المالية السعودي محمد بن عبدالله الجدعان، أن اختيار المملكة لرئاسة لجنة الشؤون النقدية والمالية الدولية للفترة 2024-2027 يعكس الثقة بمكانتها القيادية عالمياً وإقليمياً ودورها المحوري في تعزيز التعددية الدولية. بحسب ما أوردته وكالة الأنباء السعودية (واس).
يُشار إلى أن اللجنة النقدية والمالية الدولية تناقش القضايا المتعلقة بتعزيز نمو واستقرار الاقتصاد العالمي، وضمان الاستقرار المالي العالمي، وأصبحت منصة رئيسية لتوفير التوجه الاستراتيجي لعمل وسياسات صندوق النقد الدولي.
