فقر الدم، أو نقص الحديد في الجسم، مشكلة يعاني منها بعض الأشخاص، مما يسبب ظهور بعض العلامات على الجسم تنبههم إلى إصابتهم، ولا يتم التأكد من الإصابة إلا من خلال التحاليل والفحوصات.

ولا يفضل شرب القهوة قبل أو بعد تناول الدواء إلا بعد مرور فترة طويلة.
– كثرة البهارات في الطعام تحد من امتصاص مكملات الحديد.
وينبغي أيضًا تناول المكسرات قبل أو بعد ساعات قليلة من تناول مكملات الحديد.
– كما أن البقوليات بأنواعها تجعل من الصعب امتصاص الحديد.
– تجنب أيضًا شرب الشاي عند تناول مكملات الحديد، وفصل بين الأوقات.
بينما ذكر موقع Livestrong أن جميع الأطعمة التي تحتوي على مستويات عالية من الألياف تجعل من الصعب امتصاص الحديد بشكل جيد، ولذلك يفضل عدم تناول الحبوب الكاملة والأرز البني والخضروات الغنية بالألياف إلا خلال ساعات من تناول مكملات الحديد.
