أكد أحمد كجوك وزير المالية، أننا حريصون على تطوير بيئة الأعمال المصرية لتصبح أكثر جذبًا للمستثمرين فى شتى القطاعات الاقتصادية، لافتًا إلى أننا سنكون خلال الفترة المقبلة أكثر انفتاحًا مع مجتمع الأعمال، لتوفير المزيد من الفرص الاقتصادية للقطاع الخاص، وسنعمل على تحفيز الإنتاج والتصدير، لتحقيق الاستغلال الأمثل لما لدينا من فرص اقتصادية محفزة للاستثمار فى مصر، أخذًا فى الاعتبار «الرخصة الذهبية» التى تتوج جهود الدولة فى مجال تبسيط الإجراءات المحفزة للاستثمار.
أضاف الوزير، في لقائه مع تشي هونج تات الوزير الثاني للمالية بسنغافورة على هامش اجتماعات مجموعة العشرين بالبرازيل، أن سنغافورة تعد رابع أكبر مستثمر آسيوي في مصر، ونتطلع لجذب المزيد من الشركات لدفع النشاط الاقتصادي، موضحًا أن تعميق التعاون بين القطاع الخاص فى مصر وسنغافورة، يعزز القدرات الاقتصادية بالبلدين، ويمكن أن تكون الموانئ البحرية والطاقة المتجددة مجالاً واعدًا للتعاون الاقتصادي مع سنغافورة.
أشار الوزير، إلى أننا نتطلع إلى حوار رفيع المستوى بين وزارتى المالية بالبلدين حول القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، على نحو يسهم فى تبادل الخبرات مع «سنغافورة» فى الاستثمار البشرى وتنمية القدرات والمهارات بمجالات التحول الرقمي والتكنولوجيا المالية وتحسين الإدارة الضريبية والتحليل المالي والسياسات المالية الكلية.
