إختتم المهندس حازم الأشموني محافظ الشرقية جولته التفقدية بمدينتي القنايات وديرب نجم بمتابعة أعمال رصف ورفع كفاءة طريق ديرب نجم / ميت غمر بطول 6 كم تشمل إنشاء حوائط ساندة علي مصرف شبرا صورة وبتكلفة 35 مليون و 142 ألف جنيه، في حضور الدكتور أحمد عبد المعطي والمهندسة لبني عبد العزيز نائبي المحافظ والأستاذ محمد نعمة كجك السكرتير العام المساعد للمحافظة والمهندس أحمد فوزي وكيل وزارة الطرق والنقل والأستاذ أحمد ضاحي رئيس مركز ومدينة ديرب نجم.
قدم المهندس أحمد فوزي وكيل وزارة الطرق النقل شرحاً تفصيلياً لمحافظ الشرقية عن طبيعة الأعمال الجارية بالطريق، وتمت الإشارة إلى أنه جاري الإنتهاء من أعمال رصف ورفع كفاءة طريق ديرب نجم / ميت غمر بدءاً من النقطة الثابتة وصولاً لقرية أبو ليله بطول 6 كم ومتوسط عرض 8 م بجانب إنشاء حوائط ساندة بأماكن متفرقة بالبر الأيمن بمصرف شبرا صورة بطول 600 م وارتفاع 6 متر وذلك بمعرفة جهاز تعمير سيناء وبتكلفة اجمالية 35 مليون و 142 ألف جنيه.
وأضاف وكيل وزارة الطرق والنقل أنه جاري إنشاء الحوائط الساندة على 3 قطاعات تم الإنتهاء من القطاعين الأول والثاني بطول 150م، وجاري الإنتهاء من القطاع المتبقي، وكذلك تجهيز الطريق للبدء في أعمال تكسير الأسفلت المعيب تمهيداً لإعادة رصفة ورفع كفاءته وفتحة أمام حركة السيارت وعبور المارة.
شدد المحافظ علي وكيل وزارة الطرق والنقل بالتنسيق مع رئيس مركز ومدينة ديرب نجم بالمتابعة الدقيقة لتنفيذ الأعمال الجارية بالطريق وإلزام الشركة المنفذة بتطبيق المواصفات القياسية والجدول الزمني المحدد ليُساهم الطريق في فك الإختناقات المرورية داخل المدينة وتحسين البنية التحتية وتقديم أفضل الخدمات للمواطنين.
أكد محافظ الشرقية حرصه على المتابعة المستمرة لنتائج أعمال رصف الطرق ورفع كفاءة الشوارع الرئيسية والفرعية وتسوية جميع الطرق غير الممهده لتيسير الحركة المرورية والإرتقاء بمستوى الخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين خاصة فى القرى والمساهمة في تحسين البنية التحتية بقطاع الطرق والكباري.
