دشنت جمعية العون المباشر الكويتية بمدينة الدامر حاضرة ولاية نهر النيل توزيع سلال غذائية للنازحين بمراكز الشاعديناب جنوب وعذة مساجد من بينها مسجد الحديبة للابحاث ومسجد مربع ١٤
كما قامت بتوزيع المواد بنادي الثورة وذلك ضمن مشروع اغاثة عاجلة بالتعاون مع مفوضية العون الانساني ووزارة الشئون الاجتماعة.
واشادت مفوض العون الانساني بالولاية عفاف تاج السر الجهود التي تبذلها المنظمات في تقديم المساعدات الإنسانية لمراكز الايواء وقدمت الشكر لدولة الكويت حكومة وشعبا في مساندتها للشعب السوداني ومد يد العون لهم. وطالبت المفوض المنظمات بمزيد من التدخلات نسبة للاعداد الكبيرة من الوافدين الذين استقبلهم الولاية.
من جانبه قال مدير احمد الشيخ احمد مدير المشروعات بالجمعية ان الإغاثة تحتوي على ٧٥٠ سلة غذائية تستهدف تستهدف محليتي الدامر وشندي واضاف ان الجمعية بصدد تقديم عدد من المشروعات المستقبلية بالولاية والتي تتمثل في مشاريع التمويل الأصغر ومشروع اغنوهم عن السؤال فضلا عن مشروعات المياه والصحة واشاد الشيخ حكومة ولاية نهرالنيل للتعاون وتسهيل مهمة وفد الجمعية الزائر للولاية.
