استعرض الإعلامي علاء شتا، في تغطية خاصة، أبرز جهود الدولة المصرية في القطاع الصحي، وأبرزها مبادرة 100 مليون صحة، حيث تمثل أحد أهم إنجازات الدولة الكبرى في المنظومة الصحية، وعشرات من الإنجازات وتندرج تحتها المبادرات الصحية للكشف والعلاج المجاني لجميع الفئات.
نجحت مبادرة 100 مليون صحة في تغيير شكل وجودة النظام الصحي في مصر، وحظيت بإشادة دولية واسعة. وعلى رأسها مبادرات الكشف عن التهاب الكبد الوبائي سي حيث نجحت في فحص 70 مليون مواطن وساهمت في خفض معدل الإصابات الجديدة بأكثر من 92% سنويا وتم توفير العلاج. مجاناً لحوالي مليونين و700 ألف مريض بفيروس التهاب الكبد الوبائي سي.
ومن ضمن جهود الحملة إطلاق المبادرة الرئاسية لإلغاء قوائم الانتظار، ونجحت في إجراء 1.7 مليون عملية جراحية، استفاد منها 2 مليون مواطن. وبلغ متوسط أداء العمليات اليومية أكثر من 1000 عملية في 14 تخصص طبي وجراحي.
وفيما يتعلق بمبادرة رعاية المرأة، تم إطلاق المبادرة لدعم صحة المرأة بهدف توفير الكشف المبكر عن سرطان الثدي والأمراض غير المعدية والصحة الإنجابية للمرأة، وتوفير العلاج بأحدث بروتوكولات العلاج العالمية مجاناً.
