تستعد شركة SpaceX لإطلاق 22 قمرًا صناعيًا للإنترنت من نوع Starlink على متن صاروخ Falcon 9 إلى المدار هذا المساء (17 أكتوبر)، إذا سارت الأمور وفقًا للخطة.
ومن المقرر أن ينطلق صاروخ فالكون 9 من محطة كيب كانافيرال لقوة الفضاء في فلوريدا اليوم الساعة 5:20 مساءً بتوقيت شرق الولايات المتحدة، وفقًا لموقع الفضاء.
وستعود المرحلة الأولى من الصاروخ إلى الأرض، وتهبط في البحر على متن سفينة بدون طيار، بعد حوالي 8.5 دقيقة من الإطلاق. ستكون هذه هي الرحلة السادسة عشرة للمرحلة الأولى لهذا الصاروخ تحديدًا، وهي رحلة خجولة من سجل الشركة الخاص بقابلية إعادة الاستخدام، والذي تم تحديده. الشهر الماضي فقط.
وفي الوقت نفسه، من المقرر أن يتم نشر أقمار ستارلينك الصناعية الـ 22 من المرحلة العليا لصاروخ فالكون 9 بعد حوالي 65 دقيقة من الإطلاق.
