بحث وزير الخارجية السعودي الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبد الله، خلال اتصال هاتفي اليوم الثلاثاء، مع وزير الخارجية الروسي سيرغي لافروف، التطورات الخطيرة في قطاع غزة ومحيطه.
وذكرت وكالة الأنباء السعودية “واس” أن الاتصال شهد التأكيد على أهمية قيام المجتمع الدولي بدوره لتحقيق وقف فوري لإطلاق النار بما يحقق الحماية الكاملة للمدنيين، وإيجاد حل عادل وشامل للقضية الفلسطينية وبما يحقق تطلعات الشعب الفلسطيني.
وثمن بن فرحان دعم روسيا لقرار الأمم المتحدة الصادر يوم الجمعة 27 أكتوبر 2023، والذي يهدف إلى تحقيق وقف فوري لإطلاق النار وإرساء هدنة إنسانية عاجلة في قطاع غزة المحاصر.
