وزير بريطانى: سنواصل قيادة الجهود الدولية لضمان وصول المساعدات إلى غزة
أكد وزير التنمية الدولية في وزارة الخارجية والتنمية البريطانية، أندرو ميتشل، أن المملكة المتحدة ستواصل قيادة الجهود الدولية لضمان وصول المساعدات المنقذة للحياة إلى الأشخاص الذين هم في أمس الحاجة إليها في قطاع غزة.
جاء ذلك بمناسبة وصول طائرة مساعدات بريطانية ثانية إلى مصر تحمل على متنها معدات لمساعدة الوكالات الإنسانية في تحميل ونقل مواد الإغاثة المنقذة للحياة إلى قطاع غزة.
وقال الوزير ميتشل: “إن هذه المعدات، التي طلبها شركاؤنا خصيصًا، ستساعد في توصيل الإمدادات الأساسية، مثل الغذاء والدواء، إلى أعداد كبيرة من المدنيين”. وأضاف: “نحن مستمرون في الدعوة إلى دخول الإمدادات المنتظمة من المساعدات إلى غزة، وفتح المزيد من المعابر”. لتخفيف معاناة الناس هناك.”
وفي السياق ذاته، قالت السفارة البريطانية بالقاهرة، في بيان لها اليوم الجمعة، إن هذه الرحلة سيعقبها عدد من الرحلات الأخرى، لتوصيل 30 طنًا من المعدات الحيوية مثل الرافعات الشوكية، والأحزمة الناقلة، وأبراج الإضاءة، والتي هي معدات طلبها خصيصًا شركاء المملكة المتحدة في المنطقة، بما في ذلك الهلال الأحمر المصري.
وأوضحت أنه سيتم تركيب هذه المعدات بالقرب من معبر رفح الحدودي، لتعزيز قدرة وكالات الإغاثة على إدارة وتوصيل كميات كبيرة من المساعدات للمدنيين في غزة، مشيرة إلى أن معبر رفح الحدودي هو المعبر الوحيد لإدخال المساعدات إلى غزة.
وأضافت السفارة أن رحلة المساعدات الإنسانية هذه هي الثانية، حيث تم توفير 21 طنًا من الإمدادات الأساسية، بما في ذلك أدوات علاج الجروح وفلاتر المياه، والتي وصلت إلى مصر الأسبوع الماضي، وتم تسليمها إلى وكالات الإغاثة الشريكة العاملة على الأرض في غزة. .
