قال رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، إنه وجه بالاستعداد لكافة السيناريوهات للتعامل مع حزب الله، بحسب ما نقلت قناة القاهرة الإخبارية عبر خبرها العاجل.
وتتزايد حدة المخاوف الأميركية من أن تفتح إسرائيل جبهة ثانية في الحرب الدائرة في غزة منذ أكثر من شهر وتسببت في مقتل الآلاف. وما زاد القلق خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية هو الأعمال العسكرية التي تشنها قوات الاحتلال في لبنان وعلى طول الحدود، الأمر الذي دفع البيت الأبيض إلى… إرسال رسالة تحذيرية إلى حكومة نتنياهو من وزير الدفاع.
عبر وزير الدفاع الأميركي لويد أوستن عن قلقه لنظيره الإسرائيلي يوآف غالانت في مكالمة هاتفية بشأن دور إسرائيل في تصعيد التوترات على طول الحدود بين إسرائيل ولبنان، بحسب ثلاثة مصادر إسرائيلية وأميركية مطلعة على المكالمة.
وذكر موقع “أكسيوس” أن رسالة أوستن إلى جالانت تعكس القلق المتزايد في البيت الأبيض من أن العمل العسكري الإسرائيلي في لبنان سيتسبب في زيادة التوترات على الحدود، مما قد يؤدي إلى حرب إقليمية.
