الأمم المتحدة تطالب بوصول المساعدات غير المشروطة لذوى الإعاقة فى غزة
دعت المقررة الخاصة للأمم المتحدة المعنية بحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، هبة هجرس، إلى وصول المساعدات الإنسانية غير المشروطة إلى جميع المدنيين في غزة، وخاصة ذوي الإعاقة الذين قد يحتاجون إلى أجهزة مساعدة بالإضافة إلى الغذاء والدواء والخدمات الأساسية الأخرى، مشددة على ضرورة الوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار، لضمان حماية… وسلامة المدنيين، بما في ذلك الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.
وبحسب مركز الأمم المتحدة للإعلام، قال هجرس، إن هذه المنطقة تشهد ارتفاعا متزايدا في معدلات الإعاقة بين السكان بسبب تعرضها للنزاعات المسلحة المتكررة، إضافة إلى القصف الحالي على قطاع غزة، مشددا على ضرورة الإغاثة كافة. الفرق والهيئات الدولية أن تأخذ ذلك بعين الاعتبار.
وأكد المسؤول الأممي أن الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة يواجهون صعوبات كبيرة في الوصول إلى أماكن آمنة، كما أن الحرمان من الخدمات الحيوية مثل الكهرباء والمياه والغذاء يعرضهم لمخاطر متزايدة، بما في ذلك خطر فقدان الأرواح.
وشددت على ضرورة تزويد العاملين في مجال الإغاثة والوكالات العاملة في مجال الدعم الإنساني بالموارد الكافية لضمان مراعاة احتياجات الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في هذا السياق.
وحذر المسؤول الأممي من أن الطريقة التي تتم بها العمليات العسكرية لها عواقب كارثية على جميع المدنيين، بما في ذلك الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، وتنتهك اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، وتتعارض مع قرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2475 الصادر عام 2019 بشأن حماية الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة أثناء النزاعات المسلحة. .
