النمسا تدعو لدعم الجهود الدولية لمناهضة العنف ضد المرأة
دعت النمسا إلى دعم الجهود الدولية لمكافحة العنف ضد المرأة، حيث أعلنت وزارة الخارجية النمساوية -في بيان صحفي- مشاركتها في الاحتفالات الدولية لمكافحة العنف ضد المرأة، المعروفة باسم “العالم البرتقالي”، مشيرة إلى أن هذه الاحتفالات وستقام الاحتفالات في كافة أنحاء العالم خلال الفترة من 25 نوفمبر الجاري وحتى 10 ديسمبر الجاري، تحت شعار “متحدون.. استثمروا لمنع العنف ضد النساء والفتيات”.
وأوضحت أن مبادرة “العالم البرتقالي” -التي أطلقتها الأمم المتحدة- تعبر عن التضامن مع المرأة من أجل القضاء على كافة أشكال العنف وترمز إلى مستقبل أفضل خالي من العنف.
وأشارت الوزارة إلى أنها قامت على مدار 16 يوما بالتوعية حول مشكلة العنف المبني على النوع الاجتماعي، وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، يعمل ممثلو النمسا حول العالم على رفع مستوى الوعي حول العنف ضد النساء والفتيات.
